Please note the A and B division evaluation dates posted below. Evaluations are conducted as follows:
- If you are a 6th grader and you played in the A division in 2009 - you do not have to attend any evaluation. You will be placed on the same team as last year.
- If you are a 5th grader, a new 6th grader, or a 6th grader that played in the B division who wishes to be considered for an A division team - you MUST participate in the A division evaluations.
- Any player not drafted to an A division team will be placed on a B division team.
Bronco A Evaluations

As you may know, we have two Bronco divisions: A and B. Each is composed of approximately 10 teams. The A league is more advanced and incorporates most major league rules along with faster pitching. For those that would like to tryout for the A league, the evaluations will be held in the gym at Marie Murphy School, 2921 Illinois Rd., Wilmette from 9 AM to 1 PM. February 27, 2010.
If you cannot attend the evaluation and wish to be considered for the A (Green) League you must notify us by emailbronco@wilmettebaseball.org. There is only one evaluation with no make-up dates. Once teams are selected there will be no changes.
There will be a selection process the following week and all players will be notified. The teams will be posted on the Internet,www.wilmettebaseball.org, by the following Saturday.
Bronco B Evaluations
Romona School - 600 Romona Rd, Wilmette, 9am to 1pm on Sat. March 13, 2010. Note Time Slots Below.
The B team evaluations will be held in the gym at Romona School on Saturday, March 13th from 9am to approximately 1pm. All players not playing in A League must attend the B League evaluation in order to be placed on a team.
If you cannot attend the B League evaluation, you must contact the league via email at bronco@wilmettebaseball.org.
The B teams will be formed the following week and all players will be notified. The teams will be posted on the Internet,www.wilmettebaseball.org, by the following Saturday. Every player will be placed on a team.
EVALUATION TIME SLOT INFORMATION
The players need gym shoes and a baseball mitt. Bats will be supplied.
Please make sure you are there at least ten minutes prior to the start of your hourly evaluation time and be prepared to stay for the full hour.
Evaluations times apply for both A and B tryouts. They start on the hour based on your last name.

Instructional Clinics Schedule For Bronco:
All will be held at the Strike Zone, 287 Northfield Rd, Northfield (Behind the Dominicks on Willow)
Wilmette Baseball in conjunction with the Strike Zone has developed these clinics to teach the players the skills and drills that will allow them to be more successful and have more fun. Each clinic will be run by a Strike Zone instructor along with the Bronco Team coaches. These will be the methods and drills that will be taught in the team practices throughout the year. Arrive 10 minutes early, wear tennis shoes and bring your gloves and bats.
